Abdulhakim Binherz is a graduate (LLM) in International Commercial Laws from University of Northumbria, and has left his imprint as one of the most prominent personalities in banking and legal sector. Prior to founding this firm, he was general counsel of Emirates NBD Legal Affairs, fraud investigation, prevention and compliance.

Binherz has extensive experience in banking and legal field as he has overseen various multi-billion dollar projects in the region. He was actively involved in establishing the region’s first real estate funds managed by Emirates International Bank to grant loans to UAE nationals free of interest. He was also council to the first high-profile merger in the Middle-East between Emirates Bank and National Bank of Dubai, and managed the legal acquisition of Dubai Bank, and BNP Paribas.

In 2013, Mr. Binherz was honored by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, the Ruler of Sharjah, for excellence in service among UAE nationals in higher management positions in the banking industry and dubai advocates.

Mr. Binherz is a registered advocate licensed to practice in the Dubai Courts, UAE Federal Courts and the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) Courts. He is the principal legal consultant and chief litigation section, has a significant and diverse practice includes criminal, civil, family and labour, commercial in addition to other general litigation.

Hana heads the marketing and business development activities of the Firm, with her vast experience in retail, consumer and services industries she spearheads our customer generation plans. Her iconic style of management, client servicing and relationship building plays a pivotal part towards client satisfaction and brand building. Hana is also an expert in the food and beverage industry and advices clients on UAE market entries.

Hana, started her career with Emirates Bank International (Now Emirates NBD) where she quickly climbed the corporate ladder to become a Branch Manager. She then Moved to the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) in 2005 where she grew to become Head of Insurance, Business Entities, Professional Services, Retail and Events on account of her superior skills and result oriented operations.

Hana went to school in Bahrain and earned her MBA from Halifax University , USA, with a specialization in International Business.

Mr. Mohamed Abdelkarim – General Manager of  M/S Abdul Hakim Binherz Advocates and Legal Consultants in Dubai and RAK, specialises in banking disputes, mortgages and auction proceedings. Mr. Abdelkarim also possesses vast experience in handling and providing advice on criminal matters. Having served as the Head of the Mortgage and Execution Department for Emirates NBD, Mr. Abdelkarim has expertise in mortgage executions, debt recovery and handling of criminal matters with the concerned authorities. Additionally, Mr. Abdelkarim is also in charge of the firm’s sister company, ABALC – Abdulhakim Binherz Loans and Overdues Rescheduling Services LLC  and Collection company in RAK, which specialises in debt collection, recovery procedures and debit restructuring.   

Mr. Mohamed Abdelkarim graduated as a lawyer with a specialization in law and economics from a renowned college in Dubai, UAE. He has exemplary experience in the field of banking law and transactional law, and has vast knowledge of intellectual property and real estate related matters.  

With 15 years of experience in the field, Mr. Abdelkarim has the ability to critically analyse complex matters and formulate creative solutions, while keeping the client’s interests at the forefront.  He is a young, energetic and a dedicated professional who believes in teamwork.  

At present, Mr. Abdelkarim he is serving as the general manager of  for M/S Abdul Hakim Binherz Advocates and Legal Consultants and MAK Loans & Overdues Rescheduling Services LLC,  and is the direct responsible officer to overseen all administrative, technical, business development, operations and recruitments of both the companies.
